Choosing an app
How do I move my history from Clue to Seventh?

Download your data from Clue (Settings, then Download my data), open the link Clue emails you within 72 hours, and save the file to Files. Then in Seventh, go to Settings, Bring your history, and choose the file. Your past periods come across, so Seventh’s predictions start from your real cycles instead of from scratch.
Step 1: Download your data from Clue
- In Clue, open Settings and choose Download my data.
- Note the password Clue shows you. Your file is a password-protected zip.
- Clue emails you a link. Download the zip within 72 hours, before the link expires.
Clue’s help centre says the file is in JSON format and includes your tracked data and your app settings.
Step 2: Save it to Files
On your iPhone or iPad, save the zip to the Files app. Tap it to unzip it, using the password from step 1.
Step 3: Bring it into Seventh
- In Seventh, open Settings and choose Bring your history. You’ll also see this when you first open the app.
- Choose the file from Clue.
- Check the periods Seventh found, then confirm.
What comes across
Your period dates come across, so your cycle and period lengths are right from day one. Seventh shows your next period as a range, and it gets closer as you keep logging.
Good to know
- Keep your Clue file somewhere safe, even after importing.
- Coming from Flo? See how to move from Flo to Seventh. Seventh also reads Apple Health, or a CSV or JSON file with a date for each period start.
- Clue says it doesn’t import data from other apps, so moving back later means re-entering dates by hand.
- If you still have a Clue Plus subscription, cancel it in your App Store subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.
How Seventh handles your data
Seventh never sells your data, shows no ads, and has no third-party trackers or advertising SDKs. It works without an account; if you sign in, your cycle is backed up to our servers so it can be restored. Seventh counts app usage itself, without any health values. Every detail is in Seventh’s privacy policy.
